5 Resistance Levels
Choosing the right resistance when first starting out is very important. We've provided an example breakdown of the expected level for each resistance based on a 1 rep max.
- 100lb - Beginner / No grip experience
- 150lb - Elementary / Little grip experience or gym goer
- 200lb - Intermediate / Good level of strength
- 250lb - Advanced / Strong experienced grip trainer
- 300lb - Very Advanced / It's time to move onto the Elites
The Essential Grippers have a low / mid knurl. This provides a basic level of grip, but is much easier on the hands compared to a harsher knurl.
We recommend applying a small amount of powdered chalk to prevent slippage and enhance grip.
