Already certified on our bends and looking for more?
Combining strength and endurance will grant you entry into the descendants of Atlas.
We have created a list of rules which must be followed to gain certification.
The Rules
Style
- Any style is allowed for snapping
- Use of legs, knees etc is allowed
Accessories
- The use of magnesium carbonate is allowed and encouraged
- Elastic bands are allowed for the purpose of wrapping
- Leg protection is allowed e.g Towels, sleeves
Bending Wraps
- Any variation of leather / cordura wraps / pads are allowed
- You are allowed to double wrap if needed
The Snap
- If required you can re wrap you steel during the snap
- Bend must be completed within 5 minutes
Certification
- For a successful certification you must send a full video of the bend using our submissions page
- Show the steel prior to wrapping
- Show the full bend
- Show the steel against the GOG bend card
- *Please note the bend card is currently not required. Any regular measure is OK.
- Congratulations!
What Can I Certify On
We currently have 3 certifications available for our highest level of steel.
5 Star Bar
Our entry level bend and an extremely tough challenge to snap. Successful snaps will achieve:
- Digital Certificate
- Printed Certificate Available for £3
- Your name will be added to the 'List Of The Gods
5.5 Star Bar
A very high level snap that requires superb strength and endurance:
- 5 x Steel Bars of your choice
- Digital Certificate
- Printed Certificate Available for £3
- Your name will be added to the 'List Of The Gods
7 Star Bar
Our toughest challenge, years of practice are required to even consider snapping this bar:
- Congratulations Pack (T-Shirt, Steel Bars & Wraps)
- Digital Certificate
- Printed Certificate Available for £3
- Your name will be added to the 'List Of The Gods
