OmniGrip 2H Lift

These rules apply to all two handed OmniGrip Lifts.

• Only the rotating bar of the handles can be grasped / touched during the lift.
• No part of the frame can be touched during the lift.
• Any part of the lifting apparatus can not touch the legs or any other body parts during the lift.
• You must not intentionally try to tilt the handle.
• You can not rest your lifting hand or forearm on your legs during the lift.
• The lift must be completed to a minimum of 4".
• There is no referee's down signal. 
• After the marker touches the 4" height, the weight must be lowered in a controlled manor with the lifting hand in full contact.
• Only powdered magnesium carbonate is allowed. The use of liquid chalk or any form of tacky is specifically disallowed.
• Wrist wraps / finger bandage / tape are not allowed.

Dynamite Vertical Bar - Max

These rules apply to all Vertical Style Events.

• The Vertical Bar must be grasped from the side with the bar facing upwards.
• No part of the underside of the bar can be touched during the lift, you may touch the top of the bar.
• You are free to grip at the top / middle / bottom of the bar. 
• Any part of the lifting apparatus can not touch the legs or any other body parts during the lift.
• You must not intentionally try to tilt the the bar or gain wrist leverage.
• You can not rest your lifting hand or forearm on your legs during the lift.
• The lift must be completed to a minimum of 6".
• There is no referee's down signal. 
• After the marker touches the 6" height, the weight must be lowered in a controlled manor with the lifting hand in full contact.
• Only powdered magnesium carbonate is allowed. The use of liquid chalk or any form of tacky is specifically disallowed.
• Wrist wraps / finger bandage / tape are not allowed.

Saxon Bar Deadlift 60mm - Max

These rules apply to all Saxon Bars.

• The Saxon must be grasped overhand. Fingers front and thumb rear.
• No part of the underside or outside (sleeve) can be touched during the lift.
• You must not intentionally try to tilt the bar.
• The lift must be completed to lockout with a referees down signal.
• The weight must be lowered in a controlled manor with the lifting hands in full contact.
• Conventional and Sumo stances are allowed.
• Only powdered magnesium carbonate is allowed. The use of liquid chalk or any form of tacky is specifically disallowed.
• Wrist wraps / finger bandage / tape are not allowed.

Narrow Pinch Block - Max

These rules apply to all standard pinch blocks.

• The Pinch Block must be grasped overhand. Fingers front and thumb rear.
• No part of the underside or inside of the block can be touched during the lift.
• Any part of the lifting apparatus can not touch the legs or any other body parts during the lift.
• You must not intentionally try to tilt the block.
• You can not rest your lifting hand or forearm on your legs during the lift.
• The lift must be completed to a minimum of 6".
• There is no referee's down signal. 
• After the marker touches the 6" height, the weight must be lowered in a controlled manor with the lifting hand in full contact.
• Only powdered magnesium carbonate is allowed. The use of liquid chalk or any form of tacky is specifically disallowed.
• Wrist wraps / finger bandage / tape are not allowed.

Cliffhanger - Hold

These rules apply to all cliffhangers for a timed hold.

• The cliffhanger must be grasped using the fingers, you can use any combination you like (some people prefer 2 fingers or 4 fingers)
• Your thumb can not be in contact with the cliffhanger at any point during the lift.
• Only the ledge of the cliffhanger can be touched during the lift.
• Any part of the lifting apparatus can not touch the legs or any other body parts during the lift.
• You must not intentionally try to tilt the the bar or gain wrist leverage.
• You can not rest your lifting hand or forearm on your legs during the lift.
• The time begins as soon as the weight lifts off the floor and stops as soon as the weight touches the floor again.
• You do not have to lower the weight in a controlled manor.
• The hold must be completed for a minimum of 5 seconds to be valid. Times will be rounded to the nearest 0.1 ie 12.23s seconds becomes 12.2s.
