Rolling Handles
Rolling handles challenge your grip by rotating as you lift. Your fingers and thumb have to keep control of the handle as it tries to roll out of your hand, making them a useful tool for training grip strength, holding power and forearm endurance.
Our range includes steel rolling handles, interchangeable OmniGrip™ frames and attachments, and starter bundles, giving you different ways to train each hand individually or work with both hands.
WHICH ROLLING HANDLE SHOULD I CHOOSE?
If you’re buying your first rolling handle, our recommendation is the 50mm Godlike Rolling Handle. It’s an accessible starting diameter for learning the movement and building strength.
Larger diameters place your hand in a more open position. Hand size, technique and experience all affect how each size feels, so choose the challenge that suits your training.
- 50mm: Our starting recommendation for general rolling-handle training.
- 60mm: A thicker grip for a more open hand position.
- 76mm: A substantial thick-handle challenge.
- 89mm: Our oversized Omega, for dedicated open-hand training.
If you’re preparing for a competition, train with the specific handle and diameter used in your event.
OUR TOP PICKS
Godlike Rolling Handle
Our classic steel rolling handle, available in 50mm, 60mm and 76mm diameters. Made in the UK with corrosion-resistant BZP steel components and our GripLock™ textured finish, it’s a straightforward choice for one-handed lifts and timed holds.
Rolling Handle Starter Bundle
Starting from scratch? This brings together a Godlike Rolling Handle, Essential Olympic Loading Pin, heavy-duty carabiner and grip chalk. Choose your handle diameter and add your own weight plates.
OmniGrip™ Rolling Handle Frame
For people who like options. Pair the frame with our interchangeable attachments to switch between different diameters and shapes without buying a separate complete handle each time. Attachments are sold separately.
OmniGrip™ Double Rolling Handle Frame
Bring both hands into the lift with two interchangeable grips in one frame. Attachments are sold separately; we recommend staying at 80mm or below to leave room for your hands.
Omega Rolling Handle — 89mm
For when thick isn’t thick enough. The Omega’s 89mm steel grip creates a demanding open-hand challenge. Expect to use less weight than you would on a smaller handle.
ANOTHER WAY TO ROLL
The Essential Rolling Handle uses a 60mm nylon roller, bearings and a stainless steel body. It offers a different surface feel from our textured steel handles.
MADE BY GRIP NERDS
Our Godlike and Omega rolling handles, plus our OmniGrip™ frames and attachments, are designed and made by us in the UK. The Essential Rolling Handle is manufactured in China.
For loading-pin lifts, connect your handle to a loading pin using a suitable carabiner. Start light, get familiar with the roll and build from there.
