World Of Grip - Gold Bar - Lift

• Rising Bar style event, each athlete will have 3 attempts, you are permitted a 4th attempt at breaking a World Record.

Lifting Rules.

• Only the Gold Bar top is to be grasped with a pinch grip.
• The apparatus is lifted until the marker jutting out at the bottom (at 3.5” from the floor) touches a horizontal bar placed at 16.5”, measured from the x underside of the bar to the floor.
• This allows a 13” lift.
• There is no referee’s signal.
• You do not have to be erect upon completion. You must lower the weight under control (hand grasping it all the way down).
• If the top accidentally touches the bar before the weight itself, referee’s discretion will be used to judge whether the correct height was attained.
• You must not intentionally tilt the apparatus to gain leverage.

GOG Small Pipe Pinch - Lift

• Rising Bar style event, each athlete will have 3 attempts, you are permitted a 4th attempt at breaking a World Record.

These rules apply to all Pipes.

• The Pipe must be grasped from the top.
• No part of the edge / underside or inner tube can be touched during the lift.
• Any part of the lifting apparatus can not touch the legs or any other body parts during the lift.
• You can not rest your lifting hand or forearm on your legs during the lift.
• The lift must be completed to a minimum of 12".
• There is no referee's down signal. 
• After the marker touches the 12" height, the weight must be lowered in a controlled manor with the lifting hand in full contact.
• Only powdered magnesium carbonate is allowed. The use of liquid chalk or any form of tacky is specifically disallowed.
• Wrist wraps / finger bandage / tape are not allowed.

GOG 76mm Rolling Handle Hold - Thumbless

• The minimum time accepted in the contest is 5 seconds.
• All times are rounded down to the full second ie. 17.77secs, becomes 17secs.
• Weights to be used are: 55k, 47.5k, 40k, 32.5k, 25k, 17.5k or 10k if needed.
• Only the rolling part of the handle is to be grasped, using an overhand thumbless grip (thumb on the same side of the handle as the fingers).
• Timing is started from the moment the weight is lifted off the floor, and stopped when it either drops out of the hands, or it is put down.
• The apparatus is not allowed to touch the legs, or any other bodyparts apart from the hands holding it.
• Also the hands or forearms are not allowed to be locked against the thighs.
