The Gods of Grip Mini Bruce Lee Grip Machine brings classic crushing grip training into a compact, plate-loaded setup. Add weight to the centre pin and squeeze the handles together, increasing the resistance as you get stronger.
How to use the Mini Bruce
Start with the machine on a firm, level surface. Try the movement without added plates before loading it.
- Add your plates. Slide a light weight onto the centre loading pin, checking that it clears the frame.
- Position your hands. Brace your palms against the upper handle and curl your fingers underneath the lower bar.
- Squeeze. Close your fingers to bring the handles towards each other and raise the loaded lower section. Keep your wrists steady.
- Return slowly. Open your hands under control rather than letting the weight drop.
Choose a resistance that lets you complete smooth repetitions through a comfortable range.
Benefits of the Mini Bruce Lee Grip Machine
- Targeted crushing grip training: Challenge the closing action of your fingers and hands with adjustable resistance.
- Gradual progression: Add weight in small steps and record your loads and repetitions to track improvement.
- Repetitions and holds: Perform controlled squeezes or pause briefly in the squeezed position to vary the challenge.
- Compact footprint: Add a dedicated grip station to your home gym without needing space for a full-size machine.
Loading pin and machine dimensions
| Measurement | Size |
|---|---|
| Loading pin diameter | 25 mm |
| Usable loading pin height | 160 mm |
| Internal width between uprights | 260 mm |
| Overall height | 440 mm |
| Overall width | 420 mm |
| Overall depth | 160 mm |
Which weight plates will fit?
Check both the centre hole and outside diameter of your plates. They must fit over the 25 mm loading pin and move freely within the 260 mm gap between the uprights. Allow clearance so the plates do not rub against the frame.
Full-size plates may be too large even if their centre hole fits. Weight plates are not included.
A simple starting workout
Try two sets of 8–12 controlled repetitions, twice a week, leaving at least a day between sessions. Warm up with lighter repetitions and rest for around 90 seconds between working sets.
Choose a load that leaves a couple of good repetitions in reserve. Once you can complete both sets comfortably at 12 repetitions, add a small amount of weight.
Keep the movement strict and make every squeeze count.
