Handle Spread

Adjusting the handle spread changes the difficulty of closing the gripper-the wider the spread, the harder it is. Narrow spreads are great for grip training without needing to set the gripper with your other hand, unlike standard or wide spreads. If you can handle a standard spread, stepping up to a wide spread is a big challenge.

Handle Mount

The handle mount option lets you adjust how high or low the handles are positioned on the spring. A higher mount makes the gripper harder to close. If you can close a 3-Band with a mid or low mount but struggle with a 4-Band, a high-mounted 3-Band can help you build up to closing a 4-Band with a lower mount.

Choosing a Carbon Grey or Mirror Polished spring is purely a matter of aesthetics. The performance is the same for both. All Atomgripz springs start in Carbon Grey, with the Mirror Polished finish achieved through a 20-minute hand-polishing process.
